From June 12 to 14, 2026, Bolsena will host “The Calla – A Flower for Bolsena,” an event organized by the Bolsena Ricama Association during the Hydrangea Festival.
The event invites embroidery enthusiasts, artists, and embroidery schools to participate with works inspired by the calla lily, an elegant and symbolic flower reinterpreted through creativity and textile art.
Participants are free to create their works using embroidery and lace-making techniques, including three-dimensional creations, leaving space for originality and artistic imagination.
The artworks will be evaluated by visitors to the exhibition, and the most voted piece will receive a plaque, a diploma, and a selection of local products.
The exhibition opening is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
