A new opportunity to discover one of Bolsena’s most fascinating and historic landmarks.
Starting in June 2026, Palazzo del Drago opens two magnificent 16th-century frescoed rooms and its historic garden to the public, making one of the town’s most prestigious historic residences accessible through regular weekend visits.
Until now, access to the palace was limited to special occasions and extraordinary events. From now on, visitors, art lovers, and history enthusiasts will be able to plan their visit every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The experience is enriched by a multimedia tour that allows visitors to explore the history of the palace and its frescoes directly from their smartphones. Along the route, QR codes provide access to audio content, stories, and insights about the rooms, artworks, and the history of the residence.
A unique opportunity to discover an important piece of Bolsena’s heritage, admire remarkable Renaissance frescoes, and enjoy an immersive cultural experience in the heart of the town.
